In 2003 the format of tourney play was redesigned in order for tourney's to be played in seasonal fashion. Prior to 2003, tourney wins/losses were conducted in an all-time statistical method. The current and revised system has league action being played according to the calender year. The player with the most tourney wins at the end of each calender year becomes the undesputed league champion for that subsequent year.
