Spring 2008:

Whole lotta rain this season! Couple double headers and lots of fun/drinking! Tang is EOS bound!!! Congrats!

________________________________________________________________

Fall 2007:

EOS: Tang Wins the first game against 3rd St. Boozehounds in a close one 3-2. 2nd game vs. ONYD't - another nailbiter and Tang loses 4-3, tough loss! There's always next season! :)

Week 7 make-up...oh no wait, they forefited AGAIN!!! F U Queso Cojones!

Week 8: Double-header 1 Big Inning & Kenids. Tang pulls out the W in both and wins the division! Congrats Tang!

Week 7: Forfeit, no wait, no forefit. This game will be made up on 10/26.

Week 6: Phatballs got their first W over Tang. Tang got off to a rough start giving up 4 in the 1st and then 1 more in the 2nd. We held them after that but were only able to score 3 runs. We made them sweat a little in the 9th but they covered Kent to catch the bomb at the fence...good game Phatballs!

Week 5: vs. Motorboaterz. They need a new motor or some gas or something...maybe they needed Jell-O!

Week 4: A beautiful night - finally! We took on the Ladeez and took em down. However, Props to Megan O'Hallaran for her first homerun, unfortunately, it was against us. It was a hilarious sight to see...run, stop, overthrow, run, stop, overthrow, run, stop, overthrow...well, you get it:) Congrats Megan!

Week 3: Make-up of the Hellfish game. This time the ground was practically frozen, however, Tang wasn't:) Mother nature gets wild when Tang & Hellfish meet.

Week 2: Mosquitos attack! Thankfully, so did Tang! We sucked some blood from KMITJ:)

Week 1: The sky grew dark and drizzle was going when the game began. 40 wet, muddy minutes into the game, it was called due to the field becoming soup. No score reported because it was only the top of the 4th. Mud makes for fun kickball games! Game to be rescheduled.

Spring 2007:

Other weeks - so much fun I forgot:)

Week 3 vs. 1 Big Inning: While Travis was getting his groove on at Christina, we were playing some solid kickball! Weather was in the high 50's, definitely nice to see compared to last week! Lots of great plays were made but I can't remember them all exactly...but they were great! You should stop by sometime and see for yourself:)

Week 2: SNOW...yeah, M'er F'n SNOW! Fields are covered and unplayable. F U Mother Nature!

Week 1 vs. Phatballs: Tang had some player challenges due to the Easter weekend but pulled off the Win. Excellent effort team!

Fall 2006:
Clearly, I'm not very good at keeping this section updated...I blame the drinking during/after the games and killing all those brain cells that would remember exactly what happened:) Whatever the details, it was another excellent season Tang! Way to go!!!

Spring 2006:
Game 1 vs. Houdini: All around defensive game for both teams. No one was giving up any runs. Tang finally gets one run in the top of the 9th and are able to stay solid on defense and not give up anything! Excellent game Tangers!!!

Game 2 vs. Party Pirates: New team to the division, fun bunch with great costumes! By next season, they'll be grizzled vets...AAARRRRR!!! :)

Game 3 vs. Picked Last: Always a tough team to play and always ends up being a great game! Picked lead with 2 after the 5th inning and Tang was having a hard time getting a run scored. 8th inning and some Ray Charles seemed to change our stride...managed to squeak out 2 runs in the top of the 8th and then 2 more in the top of the 9th while maintaining our defense. Great game to both teams!

Fall 2005:

Game 1: Tang sweeps both games in the opening double header. The Ladeez came out strong and played a fun game, we just got a couple more runs than them...
The Hellfish game was a nail biter, they were up, we were up, they were up, we were up and then thankfully the game ended:)
Great games Tang! Way to start off the season!

Spring 2005:

EOS: Tang advances all the way to the Elite 8. Down 7-1 the first game in the 5th inning(mind you, tourney games are only 7 innings) against Nice Kick Focker. Wulff steps up to the plate and drills a homerun igniting Tang's fire to win. Tang manages the comeback to win 9-7.
Game 2: vs. Happy Fun Balls out of Madison. Tang's ready this time and doesn't let the lead slip ever. Game ends 12-1. NKOTB will not live this down easily.
Game 3: vs. some other Madison team, which Tang beats to advance to the Eilte 8.
Game 4: vs. ONYD't out of Madison. This is a seasoned tourney team, making an appearance almost every season. Tang's got it's work cut out! Game is tied in the 7th so it goes further innings and as each inning advances outfielders are removed. In the 10th inning, ONYD't resorts to the manbunt and scores forcing Tang to either score or exit the tourney. Tang scores one run but it's not enough. ONYD't advances to the Final 4 with a score of 3-1. ONYD't continued on to the final but lost to Vandelay Industries.

Excellent season Tang!!!

Double Header (5/20): After 2 rainouts, Tang finally gets back into action with a double header and another 220 Jell-O shots. First game against Jim's Dirty Rotten Rascals. Tang pulls out the W with a very limited team showing up. Chris Impens gets his first HR and Dirks picks up another one.
Game 2 - Hellfish: Always a challenge when we play Hellfish and this game was no different. Tang had a nice lead up until the top of the 9th. Tang did pull off the win but it sure was close. Hey Rutlin, now you know that a deflected ball is live no matter where it goes;-)~

Houdini game (4/29): Tang takes one on the chin to Houdini. After 3 seasons, Houdini finally pulls off the win against Tang. Tang may have been too busy enjoying the Jell-O to really pay attention...but, we did have fun. Celebrated Rory & Dan's birthdays. We'll bounce back next week!

Ladeez game (4/22): Tang pulls through in their first game of the season versus the new Ladeez. Lots of heckling & debauchery occured and no one was injured. Flash let Rutlin slip in a homerun. Dane kicked one to the fences and DB just kept running...go Forest! 220 Jell-O shots later and Tang scores the first W of their season.

Spring 2004:

Week 8 - 2nd Double header night. Sweet Tang finishes the season on a very HIGH note! 2 wins, giving us a winning record of 4-3-1 for the season. Sean managed to squeek out a homerun against Phatballs, first 1 of the season:) Looking to Rock the House in Fall!

Week 7 - 1st Double header night. Sweet Tang was missing some of it's sweetest players and suffered an a$$-kicking at the hands of L2S. The upside is that the score was 420!
Then came the Hellfish game which Sweet Tang had all but won and then the unthinkable happened...we choked and ended with a tie!
Excellent games from both teams!

Week 1 vs. Farfrompukin: It was a stellar night for Sweet Tang on opening day! Jell-O was oozing almost as much as Cindy's knee from sliding into 2nd.
Funniest memory of the night was watching the Hellfish play so loaded I'm not sure they knew they were even playing!
