LOS OSOS GEAR PRICE LIST
With the fundraiser coming up on Thursday, August 25th, we want you to be able to outfit yourself with plenty of Los Osos Cross Country gear. Remember, the more sponsors you have, the more goodies you get! Here is the price list...as you know, the first $50 goes to the program.

Warmups: Jacket $30 XXL add $2
Pants $20 XXL add $2
Backpacks: $25
T-Shirts: $10 (same as summer shirt, but navy blue)
Hooded Sweatshirt: $20
Hat/Visor: $15

Parents and family members can order items as well. Order forms will be available on the 25th! Get on those sponsors!

Pool Party every Thursday , starting Aug 11-25, contact Kathleen Bosco from the CC Booster Club(909-945-1886). The booster club will help with food ,drinks and logistics.

As many of you have heard, we will have a new Head Coach, Mike Orvit, directing the Cross Country and Track Programs at Los Osos High. He is also joining the Los Osos teaching staff, thus will be available during the day to make sure everyone can obtain his assistance and direct communication. In keeping with our esatblished traditions, our runners will continue with the class and expectations of high performance they have shown since our programs' inception.

In light of Coach Morales' move to the Whittier Area, his wife's medical problems and the desire for a new direction prompted by the school's administration, he will not continue to be a part of the running programs at Los Osos High School.

Stay tuned for announcements and information about this year's summer program. Coach Morales will still be on Campus, helping with any transitional questions, as necessary. Let's hit the ground running as we prepare for an outstanding 4th season! We have high expectations for everyone on the team this year!! Let's demonstate our class by giving our new coach a great welcome and your utmost in attention, dedication, and efforts!!

SUMMER PRACTICE CAMP

Summer Practice Camp begins on Monday, July 18th at 8:30am!

To participate, you must:
1. Complete the athletic clearance packet (available at school)
2. Get an athletic physical
3. Have personal health insurance
4. Fill out the Summer Camp Sign-Up sheet available in the
LOHS Athletic Office.

To be successful, you should...
be able to run 4 miles comfortably by July 18th if you are a veteran and 2-3 miles if you are a newcomer.
